# Every referral tracked by a link, every payout calculated the same way

> A referral and affiliate tracker with a unique link per partner, a live dashboard and an automatic payout report, replacing spreadsheets and messages.

- Solution example: Business with resellers or partners, Worldwide. The business and the people are made up.
- Business: Fieldstone Supply

## The problem

“Partners message me when they send someone, and I note it in a sheet. At the end of the month we argue about who referred whom and what they are owed.”

## The solution

Each partner gets a unique link. Visits and sales through it are recorded against the partner, and each partner sees a live dashboard of their referrals and what they are owed. At the end of each period the tracker produces a payout report, using the same commission rules for everyone.

*Screen: A referral dashboard with three counts at the top and a list of partners showing referrals, converted referrals and payout status.*

## Tools and AI used

Airtable holds partners, referrals and payouts. Make connects the link tracking and the sales from Stripe to it, and builds the payout report. Claude helps us write the commission rules as plain formulas and tests them against past months, so the owner can see they match what was paid.

Tools: Airtable, Make, Stripe, Claude.

## What now works

A partner can check their own numbers instead of asking. A disputed payout is settled by looking at the record: the link, the sale and the rule that applied.

## Timeline, package and price

One build of about three weeks, most of it agreeing the commission rules and testing them on past months before the first live payout report.

About 3 weeks. It starts with the [Get Organised](https://cloudcraftspace.com/packages/) package.
