## The problem

“Stock is in one spreadsheet and dealer orders are in another, and they disagree. Dealers phone to ask what we have, and I find out we are out of something when an order is half packed.”

## The solution

One inventory list that every order draws down: products, quantities on hand and a reorder level per product. Dealers sign in to an ordering page that shows current availability, place an order and follow its status. When stock falls to a product's reorder level, an alert goes to whoever buys materials.

## Tools and AI used

Airtable holds products, stock movements and orders. Softr gives dealers their sign-in and ordering page on top of it, and Make sends the alerts. Claude helps clean the existing spreadsheets into one product list, and flags duplicates and odd quantities for the owner to resolve.

## What now works

Stock and orders agree because they are the same data. Dealers see what is available before they order and can check an order's status themselves, and the person buying materials hears about low stock when it happens.
